 If you do not have a computer in or near your wine cellar, the easiest way to keep Wine Cellar II up to date is to print a listing of all wines Ready for Drinking and keep this by your wine cellar. All you do is tick off each bottle (or even better, write the date) as it is opened. The Ready To Drink Cellar Listing contains all wines ready for drinking in the current year (and overdue wines that should have been consumed in previous years) with their exact location in your wine cellar. You can also include any other details that you find useful (e.g. Score, Quality Rating, Retail Price). To view the Ready To Drink Cellar Listing, first select Ready to Drink from the Wine menu (or type Ctrl+D):  Then select Print Preview from the File menu.  You can further customise the listing by choosing the columns to display. To do this, select Page Setup from the File menu: When you are happy with the contents, select Print from the File menu (or type Ctrl+P).  Quicker Option (if you do not need to know exactly when each bottle was opened) - just tick or cross off each bottle on the Ready To Drink Cellar Listing as you pull it from your cellar. Almost As Quick Option - as you pull each bottle from your cellar, write the date next to the bottle on the Ready To Drink Cellar Listing.  Periodically (e.g. monthly) you can take the printed cellar listing and update the status of the bottles in Wine Cellar II. There is a very quick process for doing this. Select Open Bottles from the Bar Code menu (or press F7):  Quicker Option - For each bottle that is ticked or marked as opened on your Ready To Drink Cellar Listing, simply type it's number into the Number or Bar Code field and press Enter (or click on the Open button). Almost As Quick Option (if you want to know exactly when each bottle was opened) - Set the date in the Opened field before clicking on the Open button. To enable quick selection of the date, you can press the Up and Down arrows while the cursor remains in the Number or Bar Code field. You can now print an updated Ready To Drink Cellar Listing.
